Robotech is the extended version of Macross plus 2 more animes atach by force to macross in the 80's by harmony gold, for american audiences... so is 3 seasons... i never watched sailor moon, but my little sisters watched (i was too old for that) I watched a lot of robot stuff as a little girl voltron, mazinger, mazinger z, ultraman (dorama)

(when i was a child i don't remember see one)there is more like web sites or forums of fans even blogs or fotologs of fans who visit each other or see each other in conventions, or in anime expos (rent a theater in order to watch a series...) i use to go to expos and conventions when i was in my twenties and before i become a mother... so all my contribution is translate manga or news for different forums
