Eh, I always have a ton of meetings on my tasklist. :) It's the whole full-time job and full-time student thing. (Though I am not teaching this year! Yay!) I'm super curious about your thesis and may try to find a way to work it into my plan of study this summer so I can Really Read it as opposed to just look at it.

My housemate is actually doing gender/anime academic work, and has recently been rambling about the construction of the national body in Hetalia, and does fandom stuff, and really I should just point her to your LJ if that's cool with you :)
